Welcome to Season 4 of my Best Matches series: where I look at the best matches of a certain wrestler. This season I look at some of Latino Heat Eddie Guerrero's Greatest Matches, from his time in ECW and WCW to his WWE Title reign and much more.
If you haven't already checked out the previous seasons in the link below:
Check out the last two seasons:
Kenny Omega (Season 1)
Becky Lynch (Season 2)
Stone Cold Steve Austin (Season 3)
So next we look at his WWE Championship he had with Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 20
Season 4 Episode Nine
WWE Championship Match Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle Wrestlemania 20 • March 14, 2004

Watching this match was interesting as I’ve only seen the finish and never watched the whole thing until now, so I was excited to see these two battle it out. It did live up to the hype for the most part as you expend nothing less, but there was something missing that I couldn’t put my finger on.
The pacing was pretty good but I was hoping when Eddie got back into the match there would be more near falls and the pace would pick up etc. But it didn't (Maybe that just me haha), also Eddie didn’t get a lot of offence for most of the match with Angle controlling most of it.
But I love the finish with Eddie outsmarting Angle untying his boot, which comes off when Angle locks in the Ankle Lock, which surprised Angle enough for Eddie to get the roll-up win (A little bit of lying, cheating, and stealing haha). But it's a top-quality match up and worthy of a Wrestlemania, you should check it out to see two great at their very best.
Verdict: 7 out of 10
