Welcome to season 3 of my Best Matches series: where I look at some of Stone Cold Steve Austin's Greatest Matches from him being Stunning Steve Austin to Raising Hell on Mr McMahan during the Attitude Era. I got some of these matches of the Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD which was released in 2007.
Check out the last two seasons:
Kenny Omega (Season 1)
Becky Lynch (Season 2)
So next we look at his battle against Triple H at No Way Out 2001 in a Three Stages of Hell match.
Season 3 Episode Eight
3 Stages of Hell Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H No Way Out • February 25, 2001

I'm lost for words with this one (Not great when you need to review this match haha) this is a perfect blow-off to an epic feud and the 3 stages of hell match type is a great way to end it. Normally matches like these that are 40 minutes to an hour can become boring and stale, but this is paced perfectly with all three of these falls being from solid to an outstanding piece of pro wrestling.
The first fall, being a really solid wrestling match that Austin just survived with a stunner out of nowhere, The street fight is brutal and bloody as you expend from this era and the cage match, being just two men trying to hit the final blow to end it with Triple H winning the match by being in the right place.
The final shot with both men lying on the floor, bloody and beaten and was a great end to an overall top-notch match and this is why these two are considered the one of greatest of all time. These are the type of matches that people who love this era are talking about being why it was so great (which I can’t disagree with haha).
But a classic in every sense of the word and definitely worth checking out again if you need a reminder of why pro wrestling, when done right, is the greatest form of entertainment out there.
Verdict: 10 out of 10
