Welcome to Season 4 of my Best Matches series: where I look at the best matches of a certain wrestler. This season I look at some of Latino Heat Eddie Guerrero's Greatest Matches, from his time in ECW and WCW to his WWE Title reign and much more.
If you haven't already checked out the previous seasons in the link below:
Check out the last two seasons:
Kenny Omega (Season 1)
Becky Lynch (Season 2)
Stone Cold Steve Austin (Season 3)
So next we look at his battle with Edge in a No Disqualification Match on September 26th 2002 edition of Smackdown.
Season 4 Episode Eleven
No Disqualification Match Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge Smackdown • September 26, 2002

I have the biggest smile on my face while writing this, as I am so happy after watching this incredible match-up, I mean seriously engaged with every minute of the match and those 20 minutes flew by. There were so many amazing spots from that sunset powerbomb from Eddie off the ladder, to Edge counter of Eddie’s springboard hurricanrana into a sit out powerbomb, both things of beauty.
Interestingly they just use the ladders, but they indeed made the most of it. What I love about this match is that it perfectly shows the importance that both men can get over even if one person loses the match.
I mean Edge won the match and the feud made sense and that Edgecution off the ladder was unbelievably awesome. The crowd were on their feet proving how great Eddie’s was (if you need any more examples haha), and maybe this was the beginning of his face turn which made his career.
Verdict: 10 out of 10
