So next we look at his encounter with Rey Mysterio at WCW Halloween Havoc back in 1997 in a Title vs Mask match for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

Wow, what a matchup, this proves that these two are the very best wrestlers of their era. I mean for a match that was under 15 minutes they packed in a lot of stuff and that suicide dive into a hurricanrana on the floor by Rey was insane and looks better every time you see it.
I love the explanation of how important Rey losing his mask would be and that Eddie kept trying to pull it off being the perfect heel, so you know who you have to boo and cheer in this match.
I can see why people rate this match so highly as it is high-quality wrestling at its best and show how great these two are and how good Eddie was of getting people to booo him. But for your weekend you should check this out as this is a classic for a reason and is the best match between these two greats.
Verdict: 9 out of 10
