Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm Stuart Irvine and is here to review WWE Hell In A Cell 2019 that told place in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center. Where Seth Rollins defend his Universal Title against the Fiend inside Hell in a Cell as well as Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks battle it out also in the Cell for the RAW women’s title.

So that take a look at Hell in a Cell 2019.

Natalya beat Lacey Evans via Submission.

Becky Lynch © vs Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship inside Hell In A Cell.

My Thoughts: A great way to start the show with both women putting on a pretty great match here. Had a lot of great innovative spots from Sasha using the cell door to trap Becky's arm, to Becky dropkick off the apron on to Sasha who was shitting on a chair that was wedged with three kendo stick in the corner of the cell, crazy spot.

But Becky got the win from Xploder off the top rope on to steel chairs then a disarmer with Sasha tapping for the win. Was surprised that Becky won because I think it would have been a good time to take the belt off her and Sasha needed this after her return. I was a bit pissed at the time is ok with it now because Becky is that good and the match was pretty awesome.

My Rating: 4 out of 5

Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a Tornado Tag match

My Thoughts: A last-minute addition with the Tornado Tag stipulations but was the right call with it being a very enjoyable match and everyone looked good here. Erick Rowan & Luke Harper control most of the match and the story of Erick being in control was shown very well here.

The spot with when Erick Rowan & Luke Harper tried to powerbomb Bryan through the table that he counted then Reigns spears Rowan through an announce table was very nice, and the finish with a superman punch, busaiku knee and spear all rolled into one was a great way to end on.

Was the right move for them two win as it hopefully ends a story that didn’t live up to the hype in my opinion. But, I hope Erick Rowan & Luke Harper still get a decent push and we get to see a Reigns vs Bryan match in future.

My Rating: 3.5 out of 5

- After the match, Reigns & Bryan tease shaking hands, but Bryan walked away then wanted a hug, and then they hugged. It was a nice moment and a nice way to end the match.

- Charly interviews Seth Rollins with him not sure what to expend when going into a cell with the Fiend but he will survive and burn it to the ground… at least he hopes. An ok interview that sets up the main event nicely.

Randy Orton vs. Ali

My Thoughts: For a match that was announced just hours before the show, it was a good match but nothing surprise with it being a pretty standard Randy Orton match against the smaller opponents.

That counter by Ali of the RKO was pretty cool and that RKO from Ali rolls into was one for the scrapbook. But no one was into this match really and it sad when you think Ali was the one to get the Kofi push before this injury, So hopefully they both get used right but I’m not holding my breath.

My Rating: 3 out of 5

Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross © vs The Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

My Thoughts: So another match that was added last minute and was a good tag match, but had no build and who knew The Kabuki Warriors were alive haven’t seen them on Tele in like a month and now they get a title shot show how poor booked this show was.

But both teams worked well and it was weird that The Kabuki Warriors were the heels in this match with a lot of heelish technical just poke to the eye kicks when the ref wasn’t looking. But we have new champions when Asuka used green mists on Nikki (very Tajiri) hits the head kick and that was that.

So if this was built better could have been a more memorable moment, but don’t know what to think so will just have to wait and see.

My Rating: 3 out of 5

The Viking Raiders & Brawn Strowman vs. The OC in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.

My Thoughts: So another random match here which was base on the idea of a mystery partner and I was a bit interested but should of know it would be Brawn Strowman. It was a fine tag team match with everyone doing a good job with what they had.

It ended with a BS finish with the OC getting DQ for reasons, it was all set up to get Brawn Strowman involved in the PPV as it looks like he will be going against Tyson Fury at some point and it will look really bad if he wasn’t involved. But like most things on this show could have been so much better with a bit of build.

My Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

- After the match, they were a brawl after AJ tried to hit a Phenomenal Forearm and Brawn hit a KO punch that floored AJ. He did sell the hell out of it which was pretty funny and shows that AJ can make anything look good.

– The Street Profits are backstage talking about what happening at the PPV and the Draft next week.

- Then, Carmella loses the 24/7 championship to Tamina and that was that. It may be just me I’m starting to get really bored of the 24/7 title as they are doing nothing new with it. Hope they mix it up again but I’m not holding out hope.

King Corbin vs. Chad Gable

My Thoughts: So last of the last-minute matches, it was a solid match that had some good moment with Chad Gable not Shorty Gable looked great and to this day why don’t WWE use him in better storylines as he is amazing and deserves more, I kept saying that on this review.

But not much to say really as it didn’t have anything more than Gable is Short and that funny right (Wrong) but he gets the win with a roll-up so that good I guess. Not the biggest fan of Corbin but he know how to piss you off so that good I guess. But I hope this is over but I don’t think so (Dam).

My Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

- 24/7 title change hands again with R-Truth pinning to become a 20-time champion.

Bayley © vs Charlotte for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

My Thoughts: I’ve not, to be honest, wasn’t really into this one and that was a shame because I know these two can put up a really good match, but this wasn’t it. I get the story with Charlotte working on the leg to get the figure eight lock and Bayley doing anything to get the win with a roll-up etc.

But Charlotte gets the win when Bayley tried to use the ropes, but the ref catches her. Then with Big boot then figure eight, she taps and Charlotte is a 10 time Women’s champion. I did see this coming and I guess this work as it would be interesting to see where it goes here for Bayley.

My Rating: 3 out of 5

- Bayley cries after the match and you did feel sorry for her, she may be going back as a face by will just have to wait and see.

- Gable talks about is a win and how Corbin come up short. Then he gets lays out by Corbin. So I guess this storyline is continuing oh great this is going to be fun (Not).

Seth Rollins © vs ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship inside Hell In A Cell.

My Thoughts: Where do I begin with this one, it started so well with the red lighting on the cell made it looks more hellish which was pretty cool and the first half of this match was going the way I thought it would go with Seth trying to put the Fiend down, but nothing was working.

But when Seth kicked out of a second Sister Abigail the match when downhill from there. With curb stomp after curb stomp using chairs, ladders and bloody toolbox at one point with the fiend not getting up.

Then, when for the sledgehammer, the ref tries to stop Seth but he didn’t listen and hit the Fiend and the ref stopped the match. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME a DQ in a Hell in a Cell match WHAT THE HELL?.

Out of all the things they could have done a DQ finish the worst possible outcome and as much as the Fiend got his heat back with the post-match attack, the fiend has lost his mystery and dominant, and now the Hell in a Cell idea is now a joke. Also, if you didn't want to put the title on him why put him in this match. But I could write about this all day but it is what it is.

My Rating: 1 out of 5.

Final Thoughts:

Final Thoughts: Very disappointing show that always felt like an afterthought with only four matches announced then 5 more with hours before the show started, is very lazy booking. But there were good things with Becky vs Sasha Hell in a Cell was really good, Tornado Tag match with Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan & Luke Harper was a lot of fun and, was happy The Kabuki Warriors won the Women’s Tag Team titles.

And even the first half of the Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt match was really good but that ending is what this PPV going to be remembered for and that not a good thing, the rests every either Ok or not PPV Quality. I kept falling for it that it’s going to get better but it doesn’t so I think I will check out for a bit and just watch NXT and AEW for a while so I can remember what good wrestling looks like.
