Stuart Irvine Thoughts on NXT Live (13th November 2019) Edition

So NXT did it again with a solid and very enjoyable show similar to AEW this week build-up for upcoming storylines very well done as NXT WarGames is fast approaching. A great opener with an NXT Criewerweight title match that fun to watch and the crowd were up for it, Lio Rush gets the win but with a weird ending that I guess sets up for another match. A fine match with Xia Li vs. Aliyah, but nothing going on here except Xia Li legal kicking Aliyah in the face, which looked really bad.

Finn Balor promo was solid as always and I think Matt Riddle as his first match back in NXTis going to be out of this world. Also, Dijakovic replacing Riddle was the right call and look great taking out all of the Undisputed Era. But hopefully, next week we see who the four-member of Team Ciampa is. Keith Lee vs Roderick Strong was the best pure wrestling match of the night with these two working well together, and they are building Keith Lee as a badass big guy and can't wait to see what he can do in WarGames.

The Swerve Scott vs. Bronson Reed match showed off these guys brilliantly and hope they get a feuded soon, Kilian Dain, Pete Dunne, and Damian Priest I'm kinder into and it is shaping into a pretty fun feud and can't wait for their match next week. The main event was exciting and so much fun to watch with some of those ladder shots looking like they hurt, and the shock of Kay Lee Ray being the four-member of Team Baszler was out of nowhere and my god this wargame match is shaping up to be epic.

I shouldn't forget the action by Bayley on Baszler before the show ended which was good as it works to remind people that Bayley is in that Triple Threat match too and is dangerous as well. The best thing they did was add NXT to the Survivor Series PPV it's making it more interesting and a much watch.
