Stuart Irvine Thoughts on AEW Full Gear

For their first PPV since their debut on TV about a month, ago a really enjoying and solid show here with amazing action, great storyline and turns that are going to kept people interested for months. Great opener and everything you expended for the Bucks and Santana, and Ortiz, right call that Santana and Ortiz win cleanish with Nick Jackson injury leg playing a part in the finish. I like that Ricky Morton Canadian Destroyer at the end unbelievable for a guy that age.

Hangman Page vs. PAC was solid match and think Hangman was right to win and end PAC unbeaten single run I see them building to Page challenging Jerchico again for AEW title and winning it. Shawn Spears vs. Joey Janela was fine but didn't have the story to care enough and SoCal Uncensored vs. Private Party vs. The Lucha Brothers was entertaining but was just missing something and but no surprise SCU wins here and Daniel getting their revenge on The Lucha Brothers was a nice ending to see.

Riho vs. Emi Sakura was better than expanded and wish I could see more of matches like this in the future from the women. Chris Jericho vs. Cody was amazing and the addition of blood was great and was emotional and made you believe Cody was going to do it, but MJF throw in the towel for Jericho to get the win and we finally got the heel turn from MJF which I can't wait to see the follow up on Wednesday.

The main event was crazy and everything wants for an extreme where everything goes and my god both beat the living hell out of each other and that spot with the barbed wire table on the stage was hard to watch and it did go on a bit longer than it did. But it didn't matter who won here but glad it was Moxley as this is his kind of match and wouldn't make sense for him to lose. One final point some people have been saying this match when too far with the violence but I say watch CZW deathmatches and you will find out this match was not even close haha.
