The Tooth & Nail Match was fine, but a bit all over the place with them using the dentist for the match was different. But it wasn’t my cup of tea, but Big Swole got the win and it enjoying her booking at the moment.
A Great Tag Team battle between The Young Bucks and Jurassic Express with it being what you expected between these two, with great spots and that BTE Trigger by Matt looked great, and it's going to be interesting to see where his heelish attitude of the Bucks end up.
The 21-Man Casino Battle Royale was a bit all over the place, but it had some cool spots with that Allen body bag spot looked amazing but uncomfortable. Matt Sydal botch made me laugh but worried about him at the same time, but the right person won with Lance Archer and I look forward to seeing what they do with him.
The Matt Hardy situation I think they should have stopped the match as his head hit hard onto the floor and he didn't look great after it. But it sounds like Matt passed a quick concession test, but I guess more details will come out in the next couple of days, but it doesn’t look good for AEW. But Matt gets the win and should end the feud but the finish of the match is second to Matt's health and hope he is ok.
A solid and very enjoyable match between Hikaru Shida and Thunder Rosa and very technical with some cool submission holds and counters. I hope this isn’t a one-off thing and hope this feud for the title continues as I’m really enjoying it so far.
The six-man tag was alright but nothing surprising, with QT Marshall and Scorpio Sky being the standout. Dark Order losing again isn’t great but should get hot again when Cody gets back, but a solid match overall.
An awesome Tag Team title match with four great wrestlers telling a great story and FTR winning the title is the right call and I’m looking forward to seeing them facing off against other tag teams in the division. Adam Page & Kenny Omega slip up makes sense and I hope it turns into a feud as that would be awesome.
Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho match was a lot of fun to watch and they utilised the Momisa Pool stipulation very well. But I wouldn’t had this be a feud ender, but it was a lot of fun and Jericho landed in that OJ was funny and a great spot.
The really awesome main event for the AEW World Title, between Jon Moxley and MJF, with great storytelling with Moxley trying not to hit the Paradigm Shift and MJR using every trick in the book to get the win. Hit and miss with the finish with Moxley hitting Paradigm Shift when the Ref wasn't looking.
But it will give MJF a lot more to bitch about, so I guess I’m ok with it, but it caps off a pretty solid PPV here, maybe not the best PPV AEW has produced with not a lot of shocks or anything, but it was fun to watch and set up interesting storylines in the future.
